Some 53% of consumers say they will typically visit or book an appointment within 48 hours of searching for a local business. That number is downright staggering!

The study was based on surveys they conducted in 2017 of 350 consumers. People were asked about how they use search to discover and research local businesses.

One thing is very clear when it comes to consumers utilizing online searches, more and more people are turning to the internet for recommendations for local businesses, maybe even more so than personal recommendations.

For business owners, this is should be clear call to action that now more than ever, it’s critical to have a strong online presence.
